Senior Software Engineer - Game Integration

Job Summary:

We have an SDK which is embedded into many of our games. The SDK can be used for a variety of events within the game, including Membership registration & login, game telemetry and some more advanced features (game configuration, reward entitlements, etc.), we need to continue to support the integration in live titles, refine the codebase, and continue to integrate the SDK into future games.
Duties include:
- Analyse feature requirements.
- Design and implement solutions that meet requirements in terms of functionality and performance.
- Write quality algorithms and code in C++ and C#.
- Investigate and fix client and server bugs efficiently.
- Develop cross platform solutions (consoles, PC, mobile devices).
- Ability to implement optimal solutions in term of material resources management, especially in networking.
- Coach junior programmers and support their development in the team.
- Participate and contribute proactively to the team spirit and projects in general.
This position requires a driven and talented person that can help the team progress.
Requirements
Key Deliverables:
Developing and maintaining the SDK
Integrating the SDK with the API
Liaising with client studios to understand their requirements, and implement the SDK within their games
Ensuring the game engine plugins remain up to date
Working with counterpart teams in Japan
Conducting open and regular communication with other stakeholders regarding the status of their projects.
Maintain a learning culture within the team
To always represent the team professionally – both internally and externally

Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
- Experience in video game development.
- Experience with TCP/IP, sockets, Web Services
- Experience with QA concepts such as unit and regression tests
Desirable:
- Good knowledge of the Xbox live services and PSN (End-user, API and TCR)
- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL
Competencies, Skills & Attributes:
Essential:
- Excellent C++ & C# skills
- Strong OOD skills
- Experience with security mechanisms such as: encryption, authentication, secured sockets and anti-cheat
- An approach oriented on Client Satisfaction (Production Teams)
- Capacity to organize your own work
- A desire to push back the boundaries of video game technology is required
- Be a good communicator
