What we do:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a part of our Platform department and work under the Data Pipeline team, who’s managing terabytes of data we receive from millions of game clients each day. Your job will involve planning, designing, implementing and maintaining services that can handle millions of concurrently connected users.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Work in a cross-functional team to create data pipeline solutions for large-scale services.
• Develop new services by collaborating with peers for requirements gathering, design, review, and deployment.
• Own, operate and support the services and features you develop.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for libraries and tooling.

Player Profile:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Excellence in writing and reviewing code, preferably in Python
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, security and scalability
• Experience building and running distributed systems and working with service-oriented architectures
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems

Nice to have:

• Experience building scalable, and highly available distributed systems
• Experience with managing full release life-cycle of Python libraries
• Experience with load testing and performance optimization
• Excellent communication skills allowing effective interactions with other teams and functions
• Experience with data pipelines and Kafka
• Experience with deploying applications using Kubernetes
