Quality Assurance Analyst

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst for Manticore Games to be responsible for evaluating software and creating Test Cases for systems and content in development. The ideal candidate would be passionate about video games and have an interest in game development.
Responsibilities
- Work with QA Lead to review specifications to develop a testing strategy
- Create, maintain, and execute system test suites to provide end-to-end testing coverage
- Identify, isolate, report, track, and retest defects using the software tracking tool Jira
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the systems assigned to them and communicate progress, status and risk assessment
- Coordinate with our Outsource QA team to educate and answer questions with regard to systems under test
- Collaborate with team to create and execute new feature test plans in the test management software tool TestRail
- Support development progress to ensure timely verification of new features or tuning changes
- Participate in Front-End, Back-End, Exploratory, and Sandbox testing
- Perform regression, functional, exploratory, and stress testing on both the Platform and Web
- Directly support the development team on defect/issue root cause analysis
- Participate in scrum team meetings to provide feedback and help build a better product
- Execute daily build sanity checks and key feature/function testing
- Execute testing tasks through the use of in-house and 3rd party test tools
Requirements
- Able to communicate effectively with QA, Design, Art, Product, and Engineering personnel
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to understand priorities and work flows in a fast paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Passion for Games and Platform Services
Pluses
- Has experience creating on the Core Platform
- Experience on a team using Unreal Engine
- Experience working on or with game mods and UGC services
- Experience working on Platforms
- Previous experience working on action-fantasy and PvP games
- Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira) / Google Docs / TestRail
- Experience with Software Development Tools
- Technical experience/schooling in i.e. Computer Science, Lua Scripting, Computer Hardware, Audio, Technical Art and/or Game Design
