THE ROLE:

Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, TX.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Author, update, and ratify Test plans (including the use of tools and automation), defining what needs to be tested and how to test it.
- Review Test plans, providing feedback, identify the gaps in project test coverage and remove the redundancies.
- Partner with Discipline peers and QA leadership to implement best practices and enact necessary changes utilizing collected data and observed, measurable trends.
- Define and refine acceptance criteria, identify risks, and plan testing coverage for features and future releases.
- Garner deep and detailed knowledge of the domain or area, provide subject matter expertise, drive process & procedures, end-to-end plans, and their dependencies throughout the full product cycle.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to planning, prioritization and decision-making that is informed by similar cases or unique factors of the project or service.
- Review, measure, and recommend adjustments or improvements across processes, workflows, and applied methodologies.
- Root cause reported defects and other internal issues - including debugging, parsing logs, and using advanced tooling.
- Identify necessary data to track for owned areas, report and utilize the data to improve team workflow, health, and overall project quality.
- Employ manual, automated, and technical testing skills across owned areas to measure and report project quality.
- Establish and maintain a positive work environment to foster and grow a positive QA Culture.
- Actively mentor junior team members as well as encouraging cross-team knowledge transfer and education.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Requires a minimum of six years of related QA experience, or related work experience.
- Have shipped multiple AAA titles, with experience during all stages of game development, from Prototype through Launch (Live game support a plus).
- Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Python.
- Scripting/coding experience to bolster applicable automation suites for owned areas (focusing on Blueprint and Daedalic plugin in UE5).
- Understand Quality Assurance techniques, testing, & automation frameworks and various test methodologies.
- Strong knowledge utilizing common QA tools: Visual Studio, Perforce, JIRA, Confluence, Test Case Management software, Crash aggregators, and equivalents.
- Experience working with and in Game Engines (Unreal Engine 4, 5, etc.), or 3D Software toolsets, Backend servers and APIs (RallyHere, Multiplay, etc.), and/or Games as a Service development.
- Solid comprehension of game development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
- Familiarity with popular console platforms, related peripherals, PC Software/hardware.
- Experience game testing on multiple platforms including consoles and PC.
- Experience working embedded with game development teams.

Compensation :
- This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt position.
- The full salary range for this position is $81,000 - $119,000 per year. The upper third of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. When an offer is made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar jobs pay and internal equity.
- In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for additional incentives, such as short- and long-term incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
