Job Overview:
Wargaming is looking to hire a talented Senior Publishing Producer, to manage product development from a publishing perspective for one of Wargaming’s new titles.
As a Senior Publishing Producer, you will work as a partner to the development team and key publishing stakeholders to deliver an exceptional online game, to schedule and budget goals, thrill and delight their intended audiences.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, with outstanding communication skills and has demonstrated their ability to manage projects across multiple departments on a larger scale.

What will you do?
- Manage and drive the creative vision and key features of the project in collaboration with the studio and Product Director for title in pre-launch and support title in post-release
- Collaborate with the studio on the creation and tracking of the project’s milestone plan objectives and priorities overall schedule
- Gather regional features and feedback to be implemented in the product
- Supervise the project’s development to maintain its area of focus and the vision of the game; work with dev roadmap and check the development milestones
- Drive the creation and implementation of new game concepts that align with the project’s vision objectives
- Build a strong working relationship with the game development team and help them with any obstacles to ensure that the game is fun, high quality, on budget, and on time
- Partner with regional and global publishing teams to ensure development support as needed to achieve global marketing, PR, and live operations goals
- Coordinate, review and evaluate gameplay implementations and oversee the creation of up-to-date game requirements and design documents. Coordinate, evaluate and react to feedback from key stakeholders and focus tests. Provide clear context to the team for how features fit into the larger game, how they fit into the market place, and how they serve and delight our fans
- Help the Product Director in creating Product Operations Strategies, joint KPIs and product roadmap
- Be the voice of the players, articulate clearly their expectations to the team and provide actionable items
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior production staff. Represent the game in internal and external communications. This includes delivering strong presentations and taking responsibility for internal reviews with key organizational stakeholder’s partner companies, and handling external interviews with the media. Upon request from the company, attend trade shows and press events to represent the product and/or company
- Coordinate and oversee the evaluation of competitive products and the inspiration this process provides
- If applicable, coordinate with other studio groups, including art and production, to achieve project objectives
What are we looking for?
- 2+ years of experience in a Producer role or above, with at least one shipped AAA product, with experience in core action games strongly preferred
- 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry, in production roles
- Experience with free-to-play titles and management of KPIs for these titles is strongly preferred
- Passion for games and knowledge of gamedev
- Ability to evaluate gameplay quality as well as schedule delivery, identify key risks, and provide mitigation strategies that allow the project to deliver its key vision, including marshalling other company resources where needed
- Strong cross-team communication skills
- Ability to bring together the viewpoints of developers and publishing functions, such as regional and global marketing, PR, CS, Live Ops, and others
- Encouraging, inspiring and calming personality
- Ability to handle multiple and sometimes competing priorities
- Must work well in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to make the team contribute innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of gameplay and design
- Keep and promote a positive team-oriented attitude
- Willing to accept and provide direction, work well under pressure, and handle multiple tasks
- Must have excellent comprehension of all aspects of game production (management, planning, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, programming/technology, design, art, audio, video, localization, QA)
- Well-versed in current gaming trends and market competition
- True partner to development studios who builds and strengthens the relationships between development teams and the publishing organization
- True student of the globe—ability to build credibility with cross-functional teams and executives across multiple locations (and cultures) around the world
- A willingness to engage in frequent travel to the development studios as well as to Wargaming’s publishing and corporate offices
