About the role
As a Product Designer, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to explore concepts and deliver designs that meet our target audience’s needs, and that leverage best design practices. You are responsible for working closely with product and engineering teams to create considered and sophisticated design solutions for Strivr’s interactive VR experiences. Your design solutions should be driven by addressing users’ pain points, while balancing business needs
Your responsibilities:
- Build delightful user experiences that meet technical restrictions for mobile VR devices
- Collaborate with product and engineering to define, scope and plan new features for VR experiences
- Conduct user research to understand users’ needs and focus your designs on addressing them
- Modify and revise existing designs to meet customer expectations
- Work with engineering on building a UI kit for immersive experience, ensuring the ability to iterate and create new components efficiently and consistently
- Work with CG artists to define virtual environments that are conducive to user productivity and delight
- Build end to end user journeys, task flows and empathy maps and lead stakeholders to a user centric design solution
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 4+ years proven ability in digital product or experience design, with strong emphasis in AR/VR.
- Extraordinary attention to detail.
- Strong capacity for both logical and creative thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ever shifting environment.
- A keen sense of visual and motion design, a proficiency in user-centered design.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with AR/VR development tools and processes including Unity and iOS development, realtime 3D rendering, and other related practices and technologies.
- Portfolio consists of innovative work samples in the field of AR/VR, demonstrating mastery in 3D interaction
- Excellent presentation skills with heavy emphasis on visuals
