Your Mission
Activision Publishing seeks a Senior Producer to join the Call of Duty franchise production team responsible for release operations and automation. The best person for this role has passion and a consistent record of leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in quality pursuit. They have experience producing, leading testing and release management of a large franchise. In this role, they will lead all aspects of various pipelines for their teams, drive execution, own schedules, and work closely with various release operations and automation team members to identify needs, prioritize efforts, use resources efficiently, and continuously align multi-team efforts against top-level organizational goals. They will partner closely with the VP of Release Operations and Automation on defining and driving the execution of testing & automation strategy, building the best-in-class testing practices, and be the change agent pragmatically focused on continuously contributing to all partners.
The role of Senior Producer requires the candidate to be a data-driven and persuasive communicator, capable of dealing with a wide variety of internal and external partners across company leadership levels. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all degrees of ownership, from personally managing projects to top level tasking & assessing through other Producers. They have strong understanding of all facets of game development and are effective in partnering with wide spectrum of business partners – Engineering, Production, QA, Localization, Marketing, CS, etc.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive the success of the various strategic efforts in close collaboration with all key partners and teams throughout the release management process and workflow
- Proactively identify improvement areas and implement new processes where efficiencies are needed to improve operational predictability and excellence
- Champion data-driven planning, decision making, and continuous improvement of quality and release practice
- Help develop QA and Build Automation tools and tech product specific roadmaps and drive their execution, adoption, and measure their impact across franchise year on year.
- Advocate and champion innovation & transformation in release management and automation.
- Establish model behavior that supports Activision’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
We are Looking For:
- Demonstrated ability in the interactive entertainment industry in a Production leadership role with a focus on Quality, Automation, and Release operations
- Production experience of the entire life cycle of video-game software development (concept to post launch) of at least one published title on console/pc/mobile with an extreme focus on developing & driving teams against a regularly cadenced production plan
- Ability to diagnose existing quality practice inefficiencies and drive solutioning across key collaborators to improve said inefficiencies through process, tooling or organizational realignment
- Ability to foresee risks, drive the development of their mitigation strategies, and communicate the top-level assessment to all required partner groups
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience working with QA, engineering, studio production teams, release management teams
- Demonstrated experience with program management of cross-functional efforts, including project life-cycle models (including reporting), risk assessments, and team management
- Proven ability to thrive while working in the unpredictable and rapid development nature ever changing game development environment
- Expertise with development planning tools (ie: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Suite, etc.)
- Mastery of fundamental Production principles (ie: SCRUM, Waterfall, Agile), including their strengths, weaknesses, and ideal application scenarios
Bonus Points:
- Bachelors’ degree in computer science, engineering, game design/production or related technical field
- Interest in the FPS genre of games
- Deep understanding of current industry trends, standard methodologies, and key innovations

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
