Our projects continue to push forward the boundaries of VR and we’re looking for talented people to help us turn them into a reality. Our talented studio now has over 100 people and has been assembled from world-leading games developers and publishers.
We’re looking for a highly organised Senior Producer to join our 3rd Party Publishing team, to assist and coordinate external development teams contracted to nDreams. You would plan and prioritise the day-to-day activities of 3rd party developers and nDreams cross-discipline staff at every stage of a title’s development. You would report to the Head of 3rd Party Publishing
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage external 3rd party game development projects from initial concept to final publication.
- Development, ongoing tracking and reporting of external development to key stakeholders, including nDreams’ VP of Publishing, Head of 3rd Party Publishing and VP Business. Development, with a particular emphasis on overall projects’ progress, budgets, projects’ issues & risks and potential mitigation solutions.
- Ensure communication between nDreams, 3rd party developers and 3rd party platform holders via both personal and electronic methods including the secure transfer of key deliverables.
- Liase between external development Team(s), Brand, PR, Marketing, 3rd Party platform holders, 3rd party service providers, Finance and Administrative Teams.
- Helping external development teams to establish and maintain realistic project scope and ensuring that they do not suffer from ‘feature-creep’.
- Ensuring that titles come in on budget and achieve the high-quality standards required by nDreams.
- Performing and refining good project management techniques to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of development milestones.
- Proactively identify, report and assist in unblocking any day-to-day issues arising within external development to keep production efficient and operational.
- Conduct on-going risk analysis on all external projects and providing mitigation solutions to all stakeholders.
- Review all milestone deliverables and provide timely feedback to 3rd parties.
- Ensure that games can meet the technical requirements of 3rd party platform holders.
- Inputting into the development roadmap, keeping all studios and stakeholders aware of developments throughout the project lifetime (including post launch and service support).
- Management, organisation, mentoring and coaching of the external production team.
Requirements
- Experience producing games on a combination of console, online and social games from concept through first release and ongoing product updates.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, including the details of production such as design, asset and build pipeline, schedules, budget, quality assurance.
- Must have successfully developed and managed people, resources and schedules.
- Experience working with both internal and external development teams
- Track-record of managing teams with the production of impactful customer-facing games.
- Highly organised, able to run multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines.
- An engaging leader with a can-do attitude, a person that is a doer and not afraid to ‘muck in’.
- Excellent communication skills.
