Senior Platform Support Engineer

Your mission

As a Senior Platform Support Engineer at Colossal Order, you will be a part of the Technology team. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects in development and ensure that Unity and custom solutions built on top of it work seamlessly on different target platforms. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the integration process.

Your role will involve working with different layers of the company's technology to ensure compatibility with various platforms. You will also be responsible for implementing platform integration features specific to different platforms, such as user flow, unique gamepad features, storage, cloud, achievements, overlays, and more.

Additionally, you will be tasked with optimizing certain features for specific hardware platforms when necessary.

Requirements

• Solid work experience in the game industry and game development with at least 1 shipped PC title and 1 Console title
• Excellent knowledge of Unity Engine 2022.3+ and associated package
• Excellent understanding of compilation pipelines and AOT compilation requirements
• Solid understanding of the Entity Component System Architecture
• Solid understanding of industry-standard file formats and tools
• Fluent in C# and Burst compatible C#
• Very comfortable with C/C++
