Senior Pipeline Technical Artist Contractor

Osmo seeks a creative Senior Pipeline Technical Artist to help us design and create workflows and content for Mixed Reality products for children. This is a 6 month contract position.
We’re looking for Pipeline Tech Artists who have interest in: Children’s Educational Gaming products, working within AR & Mixed Reality platforms and are comfortable with ambiguity, fast prototyping and testing.
Responsibilities
- Support artists, engineers and designers to bridge the flow of data between departments
- Update data files to make sure engineers have what they need for development
- Manage, organize, test art assets as they are delivered to engineering
- Create art assets as needed by the team, including particle systems and exports from 3rd party animation tools
- Do layout work from concept to Unity Timelines
- Mentor Junior TDs
Requirements
- Experience integrating and organizing assets in Unity and experience with C#
- Understanding of basic concepts of asset pipelines and git revision control
- Strong communication skills and can work closely with both artists and engineers
- Flexible with and enthusiastic about learning new things, ability to pivot quickly with production needs
- Familiarity with production tracking tools such as Shotgrid or FTrack
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of digital art workflows
- Creating particle systems, integrating UI assets, and prefabs
- Experience designing applications for a global and multilingual user (kids) base
- Experience working with AI, AR, and VR technologies
