Scopely is looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist to join our Global People team in Dublin on a hybrid basis.

In this role, you will help us scale and be a part of our growing People Operations team while reporting to the People Operations Senior Manager in the United States.
We are looking for someone who brings a high level of customer service and enthusiasm to our People Operations team and demonstrates a high level of competence, attention to detail, and commitment to HR best practices and local employment legislation. The ideal person is extremely detail-oriented, enjoys taking on challenges, exhibits critical thinking, and wants a role that will continually evolve and expand as the company grows.
What You’ll Do
- Be the Initial point of contact and administrator for onboarding, offboarding, benefits, leaves of absence
- Maintain employee records and files while focusing on data integrity, compliance, security, and organization, including compliance with GDPR regulations
- Handle all employment verifications, unemployment, and other government agency requests
- Support content management of Scopely’s intranet to ensure that information is kept current and timely
- Manage the company’s payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits
- Be the go-to person for all People Operations queries for the assigned business area; handle employee inquiries, identifying needs, processing necessary transactions, and escalating issues as required
- Be a trusted partner for your stakeholders (People Business Partners, Managers) and provide advice and recommendations on employee relations and local employment legislation and also work cross functionally in an effective and collaborative way with multiple stakeholders (especially IT, Finance and People Experience) within a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Be responsible for all aspects of your business area’s employee life cycle: From new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth new hire onboarding experience, documenting new hires into our HRIS, administering leaves of absence programs, and administering their monthly benefits
- Prepare and submit employment data changes related to new hires, transfers, and promotions
- Review employee handbook, policies and procedures and define new ones ensuring we are compliant in all of our labor processes and local legislation, including validating work authorization for new hires
- Prepare and deliver termination paperwork, including the preparation of exit interview surveys as well as coordination of all off-boarding activities
- Coordinate and own contractor and temporary employee processes, which includes completing contractor agreements and tracking/notifying relevant parties of when a contractor/temporary employee is starting/terminating
- Handle HR audits and filings related to our local Social Security, workers compensation, and benefits
- Manage the relationships with external services providers such as Payroll provider, labor and immigration lawyers, relocation providers, and benefits suppliers
- Support the implementation and administration of Global People Operations programs
What We’re Looking For
- 2 to 3 years of HR generalist or related experience (you have experience in a wide variety of HR functions such as Onboarding, Global Mobility & Relocation, Offboarding, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Payroll)
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration is required.
- Ability to work independently and problem solve while being able to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong MS Excel skills including the ability to create pivot reports, vlookups etc
- Worked with a company with 500+ employees or larger
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment and cross-departmentally
Bonus Points
- Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law; knowledge of other European countries is a plus
- Experience with Workday is preferred
