Senior Partnerships Manager - Remote in Europe

About Ultra

Ultra is launching an innovative PC gaming platform, and ultimately a full entertainment ecosystem.

Our goal is to unify the fragmented gaming industry around one platform. Ultra aggregates all gamers’ activities in one place: from buying, playing and reselling games, to accessing live-streaming platforms, tournaments, reviews and contests, as well as interacting with communities and brands. Our team is currently composed of 90+ full-time members, working across 5 continents.

The Role

Ultra's platform consists of a full ecosystem of apps and features offering a custom, complete experience to every user. Ultra is home to a large and growing number of partnering apps. We’re looking for someone to join our team to manage our existing partners and identify new opportunities to expand and grow these relationships.

You are determined to use your knowledge and skills to deliver the best user experience on Ultra. You aim at maximising the potential of the Ultra platform in terms of innovative products and features, for the benefit of our users as well as our partners. You have a go-getter mindset, you are a force of proposal and you know how to detect opportunities, create and maintain great relationships.

You are project-oriented, you strive for the best while keeping your priorities clear. You have excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholders, you are a critical thinker, data-driven and can work with a level of autonomy. Of course, you love gaming and you know the industry and products.

Key Requirements

• Solid Experience in the Web 3 and Gaming Industries
• 5+ years of experience in business development in tech, with several years of experience managing partners
• Previous experience building/managing a team of business developers
• Ability to guide partners from A-Z, from sourcing & outreach to pitching and building long term relationships
• Expertise developing business cases, revenue models, and familiarity with legal agreements
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects with internal and external stakeholders, from detecting the opportunity of a partnership to following up on its implementation
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
• Autonomous, proactive, KPI driven, focused, with great communication and reporting skills
• Fluent in English

It's great (but not necessary) if you also have:

• Previous experience, or good knowledge of the application/software industry (music streaming, productivity apps, …)
• Previous experience, or good knowledge of the hardware/retail industry (peripherals, merchandising, …)
• Previous experience working in a globally distributed and fully remote company

Your tasks
• Identify new, high-potential partnership opportunities for Ultra
• Establish, manage and nurture these partnerships to enable our and our partners’ success, increase the adoption and use of Ultra, strengthen and expand our relationship, and execute upon our overall platform strategy
• Evaluate the strategic and economic impact of potential opportunities and prioritize your efforts based on impact
• Lead all aspects of deal initiation and execution, from business case development to deal structuring and negotiating
• Collaborate internally with key stakeholders including C-suite, marketing, product, engineering, legal, and more
• Manage our existing Sales and Partnerships team members, and create the business space to grow the team further
• Continue shaping our platform partnership strategy and building repeatable processes and scaled engagement models
