Senior Network Programmer

Sumo Digital make ground-breaking games and content for some of the world’s biggest publishers including Microsoft, Sony, Apple and Sega.

As a Senior Network Programmer, you’ll be instrumental in the development and maintenance of client-side network functionality. In addition to hands-on programming, you'll mentor and develop more junior members of the team, identify and share best practices, drive quality, and champion innovation, simplicity and efficiency.

You'll be responsible for the delivery and integration of high-quality solutions, exploiting and abstracting online services and ensuring platform-holder compliance to fulfil varied and technically challenging project requirements. You'll also contribute to the creation and maintenance of realistic schedules, communicating progress and impediments as they arise.

We’re looking for exceptional C++ programmers with a positive, can-do attitude and broad and deep contemporary knowledge of scalable online services, client/server and peer to peer architectures, data replication and cloud, PC, and console platform services and APIs. We also need to see strong problem-solving skills and a real passion for multi-player games and associated technology.
