What You Will Do:
As a Senior Network Engineer within 2K’s network team, you will maintain 2K’s network infrastructure to ensure connectivity to our developers and clients is highly availabile, exceptional performant, and always reliable. You will support daily operations of the network, but you will be more than a passive engineer, waiting for tickets. You will hunt out issues and design solutions to solve them. You will be cognizant of network security and apply that knowledge to maintain the integrity of a complex infrastructure. Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:
- 7+ years of network engineering experience supporting large-scale WAN and datacenter environments
- Highly proficient in IP routing and protocols, including BGP, OSPF, VRF-Lite, and policy-based forwarding
- Highly proficient in switching and related technologies, including spanning-tree, QoS, LACP, and multi-chassis link aggregation
- Proficient with supporting site-to-site and remote access VPN technologies
- Proficient with firewall policy management, firewall zoning, and NAT policies
- Experience with supporting data center interconnect using VXLAN and EVPN
- Experience with load balancers and WAN acceleration hardware and technologies
- Working knowledge of fibre channel and FCoE networks
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of wireless network technologies and management
- Experience with deploying and maintaining Cisco and/or Palo Alto firewalls in an enterprise environment
- Experience with network automation
- Linux and Python experience a plus
