QA Lead - Sago Mini Box

If you are driven by quality the Sago Mini Box team wants to hear from you! Just launched in Feb 2020, Sago Mini Box is a monthly subscription box packed with fun make-and-play activities for kids. As our QA Lead, you will join a cross-functional team who is focused on building an amazing ecommerce experience for our customers. This role requires a seasoned QA who is highly motivated and has extensive experience designing and executing QA strategies for ecommerce sites.

This is a full-time 1yr contract position.

What you will be doing:

• Lead and execute the QA strategy for a subscription based ecommerce website.
• Act as the champion for quality working closely with the product owner, designers, and developers.
• Design, write, and maintain all QA related documentation (eg: progress tracking, test plans, test cases, and more).
• Roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty - expected to perform your own manual testing.
• When you are not testing you’ll be helping our Customer Support Manager handle support requests and filling bug reports where appropriate.

We are excited about you because you have:

• Past experience executing QA strategies for ecommerce websites and are well versed with the different QA methodologies and tools of the trade.
• Expertise in functional, non-functional, regression, cross-browser, desktop/mobile, exploratory, and REST API testing.
• Comfortable using JIRA, Google Docs and Google Sheets.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal and are comfortable speaking with product owners, designers, developers, and customers.
• Customer or client-facing support experience.
• A technology degree or relevant experience.
• Experience using QA automation tools and creating your own tests (bonus points).
• Experience testing mobile apps (bonus points).
