It’s a really exciting time to be at Space Ape Games. We’ve created a fast-paced environment that promotes genuine autonomy and we have projects at all stages of the development cycle. We launched our hit music game, Beatstar, in 2021 and we’re following its success with Countrystar less than two years later. We also officially launched our first puzzle game in 2023, Chrome Valley Customs, and we’re focusing on scaling this game to further global success. On top of all this, we’re running several mature live games and working on some exciting new projects behind the scenes!

Speaking of exciting projects, Space Ape is also working on a brand-new game! You'll be jumping into a small, dynamic team that is still trying to figure out its brand, audience and visual direction. We are looking for an experienced Senior Match 3 Artist to own the visual presentation of the puzzle experience while playing an active part in the wider team and their mission to create an experience and content that engages players for years to come.

Working alongside the Match 3 game designers you will craft new blocker artwork that looks amazing and is immediately understandable. You will use your previous experience creating puzzle game artwork to help guide the design of blockers and other board tokens, and will use your 3D modelling and rendering skills to realise these designs. Every part of the puzzle experience will be in your hands as you take the asset to completion, integrating animations and VFX to add the finishing flourishes to your explosive creations.
