Job Summary

The Marketing Scientist is responsible for applying advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to solve complex marketing problems. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and ROI analysis. The Marketing Scientist will work closely with cross-functional teams to influence strategy and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical tests to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Create predictive models to forecast customer engagement, and other key performance indicators.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses into customer segments, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Translate complex data findings into actionable insights presented in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with marketing and product teams to develop data-driven strategies for business growth.
• Maintain and update data sets and analytical tools, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Identify new data sources and analytical techniques to improve the team's capabilities.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, preferably in a marketing context.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SAS) and data manipulation tools (SQL, Excel).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application in a business context.
