Senior Marketing Manager - Hybrid

We are nDreams, one of the world’s leading developers/publishers focused on VR games. As our team and portfolio of titles expands, we are on the search for an effective, people-orientated Senior Marketing Manager – a new role at the heart of our growing publishing team. Reporting to the Brand Director, the successful applicant will lead the go-to-market campaigns for all our upcoming VR games, along with managing and mentoring a talented group of brand managers. The Role
Marketing Management
- Lead the Go-To-Market campaigns for all nDreams titles from announcement, through to launch and beyond.
- Oversee and support the brand managers in the development of marketing campaigns for all titles. Take the lead on assigned titles as required.
- Bring together the wider publishing team to ensure the holistic marketing campaign are effective and fully supported across all areas of the marketing mix.
- Responsibility for the development and implementation of marketing activities and campaign beats, ensuring these are effective, delivered on time, and to budget.
Title-Wide Marketing
- Lead and manage marketing initiatives that bring value across all projects – e.g. paid media, first-party marketing, events etc.
- Create and execute the paid media strategy for all nDreams titles, working with agencies as required.
- Become a primary point of contact for first-party and partner marketing teams.
- Plan and deliver industry and consumer events – E3, Gamescom, EGX etc.
- Analysis of campaign data to shape future plans.
- Manage overall marketing budget.
Team Leadership
- Day-to-day management and support of the marketing team, ensuring they are motivated, and deadlines and priorities are being met.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, solutions-orientated team culture that encourages exploration and continual improvement, balanced with quality and timely delivery.
- Develop and mentor direct reports, supporting their future growth and success.
- Collaborate with the Brand Director on long-term resource and development planning.
Requirements
Who are we looking for?
- 5+ years experience within a marketing management role at a video game developer or publisher. Experience managing campaigns for GaaS titles would be highly desirable.
- Wide-ranging experience leading, managing and developing an effective and motivated marketing team, in a positive and sensitive manner.
- Experience collaborating with individuals and teams of different backgrounds, seniorities, and viewpoints. Ability to lead diverse teams towards challenging, shared goals.
- Comfortable going between team management and leadership and hands-on execution.
- Excellent go-to-market campaign planning and execution experience – particularly around developing, running, and optimising paid media campaigns.
- Evidence of applied and theoretical understanding of marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully plan and execute complex projects on time and to budget.
- Inquisitive, analytical and thrive on feedback. Willing to find and utilise learnings, other perspectives and creative problem-solving to shape and iterate on plans and challenge their own thinking.
- Commercial awareness, knowledge and passion for video games and the video game industry.
