Senior Manager of Internal Communications

About this Role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Internal Communications to help us inform, delight and inspire our employees to do their most innovative work as we usher in the metaverse.

As a key member of our growing communications team, y ou’ll work with everyone from interns to executives to help deliver a world-class internal communication experience. Leveraging internal communications channels that are both new and tried-and-true, you’ll tap into your ability to deliver concise consultation, thoughtful strategy and excellent writing under deadline.

You’ll lead initiatives, manage several internal communications programs (including an internal-event series) and deliver top-flight content/execution. You’ll help us strengthen our capabilities in storytelling, stakeholder consultation and leader communications.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with key stakeholders to deliver world-class support for key initiatives, programs, launches and events that inform and inspire employees around our values, mission and strategic priorities.
• Partner with stakeholders across the company to help deliver a host of internal events, including leadership lunches, tech talks and a new external-speaker series.
• Create and deliver on a new vision for intranet and online communication at Roblox, leveraging your deep experience in this area and also your insight on its rapidly changing landscape . Support a governance process to improve channel content quality and its impact on employees.
  
• Deliver essential Roblox stories via existing and new internal platforms (including Slack and Confluence), and empower our leaders with the delivery of an easy-to-use internal messaging resource.
  
• Leverage your deep experience leading crisis-communications support and working on tight deadlines to ensure our employees are informed, aligned and ready to lead in a rapidly changing world.
• Play an important role in helping to deliver Roblox Town Hall meetings, producing some segments, assuring production quality, partnering with stakeholders and guests and ultimately helping to ensure the delivery of high-quality experience for our employees.
• Drive a diagnostic system (measurement, assessment and analysis) for greater insight into engagement results and opportunities.

• A phenomenal writer/communicator with a pristine record of meeting deadlines, delivering excellence and understanding best practices and then influencing teams in that direction (and subsequently implementing them).
• An experienced and beloved consultant to stakeholders with a demonstrated ability to quickly switch gears, meet deadlines, drive results and deliver creative solutions in a rapidly evolving communications landscape.
• Goal-oriented and an avid learner. You think globally, have the capacity to identify opportunities and then build out best-in-class solutions.
• Creative and innovative, always looking to make improvements on what exists and helping to find the next best thing.
• Successful in working in a fast-paced environment, with competing resources and priorities.
• Experienced and trained in change management, with a track record of helping organizations lead employees through rapid change.
• A self starter with a high degree of self direction and independent drive.
