We are looking for a Senior Software Development Manager who shares Prime Gaming’s passion for delivering phenomenal gaming experiences to our growing international base of players and game developer customers. You will be joining a fast growing, quickly evolving organization, where the ability to wear many hats and help out on many projects will be crucial.

In this role, you will invent and ship software that directly impacts both our end customer experience, as well as our game developer partners. You will develop your team of highly motivated and talented multi-functional builders (front and backend developers and quality assurance engineers) who can collaborate with product managers, technical specialists, and principals across the company. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving problems that haven't even yet been discovered.

As a Senior Engineering Leader:

· You are passionate about innovating on behalf of customers, can demonstrate a high degree of ownership, and want to have fun while you make history and craft beautiful products.
· You possess deep technical skills, a history of growing your talent, and an ability go hands-on with technologies to identify the real problems you're solving.
· You will author narratives that will be consumed by Amazonians at all levels, including executive leadership; written and verbal communication in this role are critical
· You are an innovator and builder, constantly evaluating needs of our customers to identify new services required to support the needs of our very diverse fast-growing customer base.
· You are curious about how we support game developers and passionate about delivering a great customer experience for game players.
· You will collaborate with other internal and external teams, as well as establish relationships with technical peers in Amazon to influence their architecture and long term technical direction
· You are passionate about hiring talented, customer-obsessed leaders and engineers and growing the next generation of leaders

Basic Qualifications

· 10+ years of engineering experience
· 5+ years of experience, managing engineers and managers
· Experience in partnering with product and program management teams
· Experience with managing and building multiple teams simultaneously - leading through leaders

Preferred Qualifications

· Masters/Ph.D in computer science or related fields.
· Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project planning/execution including estimating and scheduling.
· Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines.
· Maturity, discernment, and demonstrated ability to lead and influence others.
· Tenacious, inventive, and able to deliver results with minimal direction.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, business owners, and senior business leaders.
· High sense of ownership.
· Experience optimizing for short term execution while planning for long term technical capabilities. Ability and willingness to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly
· Well-developed analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations, and inform actions.
· Game Industry experience shipping complex software in large-scale distributed systems.
· Experience with designing and building large-scale systems in a multi-tiered, distributed environment (Service Oriented Architecture).
