The Role

As a Senior Manager, Software Engineering on DevCon, you recognize that for Riot to be the most player-focused game company in the world, we need to build the most developer-focused ecosystem for our creatives. You understand the impact and responsibility that comes with defining and implementing cross-initiative standards and tooling. You are comfortable connecting with multiple disciplines across disparate organizations serving simultaneously as problem-solver and standard-setter.

Developer Connections (DevCon) connects developers around the globe allowing them to ship games reliably and efficiently. We sit at the intersection of Game Studios, Esports, Riot Entertainment, R&D, and Central Tech, allowing us to keep our fingers on the pulse of development across Riot. Our aim is to unblock teams so they can hit essential milestones for launching future games and products.

DevCon's tools and products are there at every step of the journey from source code to what we release to players. Central to our SDLC is how our games, apps, and assets get built. DevCon is reimagining what developers can expect from their build system. We want artists and engineers to love interacting with our tools & services – or even better, not even be aware that they exist. But delivering on this requires not just a holistic understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure, but a passion for understanding what makes artists, engineers, and game designers tick. In this role you will be working directly with teams large and small, products early on in their lifecycle to ones that have been shipping for a decade. You will have the latitude to make build vs. adopt vs. buy decisions in the interest of delivering on the promise of making Riot the best place to do tech.
