The successful candidate will contribute meaningfully while gaining exposure to all facets of Aristocrat’s global business. Systems Product delivery is a critical component, so you need to be execution and delivery focused with proven leadership skills that allow you to establish a culture of collaboration and mentorship that encourages the growth of the team & the System’s organization. You will hold the vision and operational oversight for high volume environment. You will build and drive an execution focused unit that will coordinate tightly across the CXS business.What you'll do
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees in both their current skillsets and identified areas of growth
- Assess current processes and make improvement recommendations to increase team and business efficacy
- Dive deeply to understand the root causes of systematic issues, identify solutions and apply fixes
- Forge collaborative working relationships across business verticals and at all levels
- Appropriately prioritize and load balance work amongst project management staff
- Owns the successful delivery of the portfolio through effective program & project management to ensure Business success for the CX organization, team and the Company
- Chair enterprise level portfolio reviews and internal audits
- Facilitate and support the success of key Agile rituals across Scrum teams
- Serves as the visible functional leader of large-scale, cross-functional new product development programs (and/or leadership “hub” for multiple, smaller affiliated projects) from initial concept, through development and verification/validation testing, and product launch
- Provides subject matter expertise and guidance across the business on effective execution of project plans, risk management, and conflict resolution
- Proven results working in a remote, distributed team environment, where coordinating efforts across multiple teams was critical to success
- Monitor and report to stakeholders on progress of the programs/projects, key Agile performance metrics, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Understand variance and tolerance for risks and change on projects/programs, remove impediments from your team and escalate as appropriate
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of extensive experience in Project/Program management in a global organization
- Extensive experience in full life cycle of project management, including planning, budgeting, estimating
- Good project-management skills including experience in planning, executing and controlling mid-size projects with large volume
- Well versed with agile as well as traditional project management methodologies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- PMP / CSM certification is preferred
