About the Role
As the Senior Manager of Early Market Validation, you will report to the Head of Early Market Validation and play a crucial role in the validation process of our games, from their initial concept phase through to soft launch. This position is vital for supporting the development process, aiding in the assessment of games' commercial viability and their strategic positioning for a successful launch.
You will help create frameworks to validate our target audience, run creative tests, coordinate user acquisition efforts and help gather data for our development teams on the commercial viability of our games from our concepting phases. You will collaborate with game teams, marketing, community, research and analytics.
What You'll Achieve
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of a market validation framework, offering early-stage insights into the market viability of our game concepts.
- Collaborate with a team dedicated to effective game assessments, working closely with partners in User Acquisition, User Research/Playtesting, Market Intelligence and Community.
- Gain expertise in identifying emerging opportunities across gaming spaces, genres, and mechanics, and share these insights with stakeholders, enhancing our collective strategy and knowledge.
- Drive and coordinate EMV projects, including Research, User Acquisition and Creative Strategies
What You'll Need to be Successful
- A solid understanding of validation frameworks and the ability to effectively analyze diverse datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Creativity in experimenting with and identifying new data gathering methods.
- Knowledge of market validation practices, including user acquisition, user testing, and market intelligence.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey findings.
- The capability to interpret and apply feedback from product teams to improve validation and assessment approaches.
- A good grasp of distribution, marketing, community, and product dynamics is essential.
- Integrity in reporting findings, maintaining honesty and transparency at all times.
- Eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in staying informed about market trends and advancements in the gaming industry.
