SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Digital Marketing team is responsible for driving effective awareness and acquiring users for our growing portfolio of games across PC, Mobile, and Console.
You will be responsible for helping the team identify and develop paid media strategies and best marketing channels for reaching potential users. The successful candidate is an experienced quantitative online marketer who can manage multiple priorities while delivering outstanding execution and results.
He or she must be self-motivated and prepared to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in a global company. He or she has experience working in the games industry and possesses a deep background in digital marketing / paid media, and strong project management skills.
We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the day to day digital marketing business working with cross-functional teams in publishing, and production/development to develop, present, and own the strategic Digital marketing plan to hit the established business KPI goals and campaign goals established to measure success.
- Proactively work with internal groups, outside media agencies, and/or vendors for production of media plans, data/analytics, and other digital marketing materials
- Drive Digital & User Acquisition core tenets, best practices, and innovative approaches with cross-functional teams against all our campaigns. Ensure all media plans and digital efforts tie back to the campaign KPI goals across various groups. Periodically refresh to improve as the games & player base grows.
- Develop best-in-class data/analytical sets to optimize and evolve our paid media approaches across titles. Advocate these best practices across the entire portfolio.
- Spearhead change using consumer insights with Business Intelligence, internal tools, and external Data/Research agencies to identify digital trends and find ways to innovate.
- Provide frequent reports, analysis, and recommendations for the business performance against KPI targets to various internal stakeholders
- Drive and/or support new relationships with key external partners to build meaningful digital marketing plans that maximize exposure on campaigns.

- Creates paid media marketing plans within established budget
- Recommends the scope, design, and implementation of plan
- Spearhead the optimizations across creative, geo, platform, channels, and target audiences to maximize returns and deliver awareness + performance at scale.
- Develop relationships with advertising partners and networks to test new traffic sources
- Conduct industry research and present actionable findings
- Work collaboratively with the brand team to support the creative direction of our advertising asset needs to ensure top performance

Work Experience:
- 5-8+ years experience in a paid media / user acquisition marketing role
- Demonstrated experience with campaign management on top ad networks/channels
- Strong, problem solving, and critical-thinking skills, and experience working in a metrics-based environment
- Experience and willingness to do both strategic planning and day-to-day execution/optimization
- Experience managing direct reports and/or enjoys developing less seasoned colleagues both within and outside your immediate team
- Leads by example with an ability to build long-term relationships with key internal stakeholders and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Building and maintaining relationships with external business partners, platform partners, and marketing agencies
- Application of critical thinking and analysis to projects and workflow
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, while maintaining an ability to always stay focused on the work at hand
- Very organized with excellent time-management skills
- Results-driven personality who is self-motivated and consistently delivers high quality work despite managing multiple projects
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA strongly preferred
- Paid Media / User Acquisition and/or media agency experience
Knowledge/Skills:
- Microsoft Office & Google Suite experience (Required)
- JIRA, Confluence, and/or other project management tools (Preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of online game market / games as a service model, and understanding of virtual goods
- Outstanding communication and client skills – both written and spoken – to work effectively with internal studio partners and outside agencies.
- Outstanding ability to execute swiftly, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
- Experience using Tableau and/or other data visualization platforms
- Must be self-motivated, have a team player mentality, and carry a positive attitude
