Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Community Development to join our dynamic international team.
The Sr. Manager will primarily be responsible for defining and leading the Community content and channel strategies critical to the team’s player facing mission, while also managing a group of community developers. In addition, this person will oversee several global community projects that extend across multiple teams, locations, and languages. The Sr. Manager will operate as a team leader across the division, setting strategies, best practices, and performance metrics while also liaising with cross functional Ubisoft leadership and departments across the business. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Community Experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Development and execution of comprehensive community content strategies, plan templates, and performance forecasting.
- Closely partner with community content production teams, scheduling, budget, and resourcing.
- Work with internal teams like Digital Marketing and PR to establish channel and content best practices for community teams.
- Take the lead on several global, cross-functional Ubisoft projects focused on content production and curation for the community.
- Work with the community social listening team on intelligence gathering best practices and offer feedback and guidance for optimization in North American markets.
- Work collaboratively with other department heads to achieve marketing, communication, and player experience goals. Build strong working relationships with key leaders across the organization.
- Clearly articulate a strong vision, with performance data, on the future of community generated content, and how the team contributes value and overall impact to the business.
- Lead and manage an intrepid team of 10-15 across the community division.
- Embrace a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial culture.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelors degree in marketing or related field required, MBA strongly preferred
- 8-10 years digital marketing and communications experience
- Experience within the video game industry is highly preferred
- Highly curious and motivated about content, channels, and player communities.
- High standards for individuals, deliverables, and overall team work.
- Can blend creative strategies with analytics and ROI.
- Expects and requires innovation of her/his team.
- Thinks big and has strong convictions.
