Senior Local IT Support Technician

Your Role

The Senior Local IT Support Technician is responsible for administering and supporting IT services at Chengdu studio, primarily through face-to-face interactions as well as telephone & remote support. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a hands-on capacity. Excellent customer support and a willingness to roll up your sleeves will be critical for success.

What you will do:

· Provide general user support for hardware and software applications and technical expertise to all staff, responding quickly to faults reported and collaborating with other non-local IT Services members to find effective solutions, monitor system performance and experience, and ensure data security.

· Prioritization of time sensitive business requests and smart decision making to ensure minimal user impact for their routine work

· Provides initial incident response for unplanned system outages or security threats. Sends out notifications and engages the Ubisoft WWIT team as appropriate

· Provide creative, effective solutions and recommend procedures and resources to enhance efficiency, productivity, and end user satisfaction

· Creates and maintains efficient documentation for IT Standards, Policies, Procedures and KB

· Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the day-to-day operating environment, available tools, and user applications. Maintain a working knowledge of Service Desk and IT Operations procedures

Provide training and support to junior IT technician if necessary

Qualifications

What you should be equipped with

· Bachelor’s degree in related IT field required

· 3+ years of experience in a similar hands-on role with direct experience in IT technician aera, supporting a multi-national and multi-location environment, ITIL best practice and methodologies, well-known IT ticketing system, IT basic infrastructure project principals.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills with strong attention to detail and highly organized, proficient in the English language, strong troubleshooting abilities and a desire for learning new technologies.

· Strong customer service and presentation skills, able to analyze customer pain points and reach acceptable solutions

· Profound knowledge of desktop hardware, networking principals, OS, IT Ticket system, productivity applications.

· Good planning ability, logical thinking ability, communication and teamwork ability, and ability to work under pressure

你需要具备

本科以上学历，IT相关专业

3年以上IT技术人员领域的直接实践经验，支持跨国和多工作室远程支持，了解ITIL最佳实践和方法，熟练使用过IT分单支持系统，作为主要人员参与过IT基础设施项目。

良好的沟通和服务支持技巧，注重细节，组织能力强，熟练使用英语，有较强的故障排除能力，有学习新技术的愿望。

较强的表达和演示能力，能够分析客户的痛点并快速提供给客户可接受的解决方案。

对桌面硬件、网络原理、操作系统、IT分单系统、生产力应用有深刻的了解。

良好的计划和时间管理能力、逻辑思维强、良好的沟通和团队合作能力，抗压能力强

Additional Information

· Technical certifications an asset (CCNA/MTA/MSCA/CompTia/etc) is preferred.

· ITIL or PMP certification is preferred.

· Passionate about the video game industry
