Senior Launch Producer

We want to leverage our collective experience in developing and publishing games, our relationships with First Party, and our resources as a Publisher/Developer to create an expertly guided partnership. Survios is looking for our publishing “closer” who will own and bring every title to market while working cross functionally with internal/external teams to insure success.

The Survios Launch Producer is a key role within the studio publishing team with responsibilities to both internal teams and external partners. The primary responsibility for this role is to partner with internal and external game teams to set up products for publishing success by helping teams bake release readiness into their product from the concept phase through final release and sustained engineering. This may include coordination between the product team and all release adjacent teams such as marketing, support, and business development. Our ideal candidate should love to play games, be knowledgeable of the indie game space, and have a passion for the latest game development methods, tools, and platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Be the subject matter platform expert and stay current on multiple platform requirements, platform release processes, and any platform-specific backend idiosyncrasies for primary SKUs as well as any related add-on or sustained engineering efforts.
• SKU management and tracking for ancillary efforts including localization, add-on content, or store/retail marketing asset support.
• Be the final point of contact and responsible for preparing and submitting all products to each platform following any platform-specific release processes.
• Maintain a holistic schedule with key dates for all products across all publishing disciplines such as marketing, QA, partnerships, etc.
• Consult with product teams on platform requirements and ensure these requirements are incorporated into project schedules.
• Establish and maintain regular communication and verification cadence with product and development teams.
• Act as a liaison between product teams and other pieces of the publishing pipeline.
• Provide guidance to developers throughout the development process of their game including in the following areas but not limited to: QA pass/fail management, asset design, and launch timing.
• Collect developer feedback and champion that within Survios particularly related to the launch experience, tooling and solutions.
• Meet regularly with developers and studios/marketing teams to ensure alignment on launch goals and next steps.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of previous organizational / project management experience in the game development industry.
• Affinity with the publishing process on Steam, Epic, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
• Strong creative, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently between multiple titles and long and short term.
• Able to effectively communicate with multi-disciplinary team members in person and long distance.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to take the initiative as the need arises.
• Knowledge of and comfort dealing with industry standard legal documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
