Senior LQA Manager, Asia

As a member of the global Localization QA management team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all insourced or outsourced LQA projects across Asia. The successful candidate must be a dynamic and highly motivated Manager, who will cultivate and develop our Localization QA offering, helping to grow and develop the capability of our teams.
This position is perfect for an engaging, personable, enthusiastic, and results-orientated individual, with an eye for detail. You will, as part of the global Localization QA management team, be responsible for delivering the highest quality of the projects delivered out of Asia (budgeting, strategy, performance management and execution of the plan), whilst meeting company targets.
Responsibilities
- Setting up PTW’s Localization QA offering in Japan using established processes and know-how.
- Building a team around you to support the delivery of Localization QA projects out of Japan.
- Managing a team of Localization QA Managers based out of PTW’s Asian studios, helping them grow and develop professionally.
- Managing budgets, staff utilization, etc. to ensure profitability.
- Being a champion for linguistic quality.
- Serving as the escalation point for all clients on projects being delivered out of Asia.
- Building strong relationships with other internal functions to deliver client needs.
- Reviewing and assessing delivery and processes on an ongoing basis to ensure continual improvement.
Requirements
- Significant experience in games QA testing preferably in an outsourced environment.
- Significant experience of leading Localization QA teams.
- First rate leadership and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Ability to manage a constantly changing workload.
- Ability to work under pressure and with constantly changing priorities.
- Excellent team-working and influencing skills.
- Flexibility regarding hours of work.
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of localization technologies would be beneficial.
