Responsibilities
As a Senior Experience Designer, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and develop innovative controls & patterns that work across 2D & 3D experiences
- Rapidly prototype and work with prototyping team to iterate concepts to demonstrate your design
- Thinking in systems for platforms and operating systems
- Create documentation for the design work and build
- Work closely with Software team to bring design details to high level of fidelity
- Collaborate with cross-discipline peers to solve technical and creative problems
- Take ownership of user interface design area of focus and work through completion; seek out and implement feedback to constantly improve and refine design
- Demonstrate and communicate clear expectations for quality of work, productivity, communication, and professionalism with team
- Work with designers, managers, and developers to define and meet key milestones as well as create task lists and work estimates
- Be positive, critical thinker, and creative force with a growth mindset in the team
- Mentoring junior designers
- A visual thinker who can create wireframes that is proficient in visualization and presenting ideas to others showcasing the end-to-end user experience
- Think in 3D and spatial methods
Qualifications
- BA/BFA in 3D Design, Communication design, Interaction design or equivalent industry experience
- 5-7+ years of interaction design experience
- 2+ years minimum of XR/VR exp
- Understanding of design tools such as Adobe CC, Figma, C4D
- Conceptualize and develop innovative controls & patterns that work across 0D, 2D, 3D experiences
- Have knowledge of Input modalities, such as gesture recognition, controller, eye and head tracking, voice UX
- Design user interface systems or experiences that support multi-modal inputs
- Ensure designs conform to responsive UI/UX methodologies
- Create rapid digital and spatial sketches, interactions, prototypes to demonstrate the functionality of design
- Designed user interface in a 3D, Virtual or Augmented Reality product that has shipped
- Experience in the following areas of User Experience design: Accessibility, Eye Tracking, Gesture and Voice
- It is a plus to work in Unity, Unreal or equivalent tools to design user interfaces for interactive experiences, films or apps
