The Role
Our team is a close-knit group of seasoned developers with a diverse array of backgrounds currently focused on the prototyping stages of an ambitious new game idea for the next generation of players. We are seeking a Senior Gameplay Engineer to join as a pioneering member, bringing their creative ideas and problem-solving skills to help us shape the core of our game's direction and development process
Who You Are:
- Possesses strong gameplay instincts with a passionate for building fun mechanics
- Enjoys working with designers, artists and other engineers to hone and refine ideas, realizing them into robust implementations
- Devises simple, novel technical solutions for challenging problems, and understands the value of not reinventing the wheel
- Seeks to learn from their mistakes and lessons from other
What You Will Do:
- Work with a small team to “Find the Fun” on a brand-new game.
- Design and build technical foundations through all stages of development.
- Manage the planning, estimation and execution of requested and self-directed tasks
- Provide ideas and feedback on our technical and cultural development processes
Qualifications:
- Experience in game programming, in at least one shipped or live AAA title
- Demonstrated experience working in AAA game engines
- Experience working with a team of diverse disciplines
- Strong 3D math knowledge
- Strong literary and oral communications skills
Bonus Points:
- Experience working within Unreal 4 / Unreal 5.
- Experience with game networking models
- Experience shipping a live game
