2K’s Cat Daddy studio, based in Kirkland, Washington, was started 20+ years ago by industry veterans and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive within the 2K Label, so we are part of a pretty big family. And while we love being part of something so impressive, the studio is a fun and dedicated family of incredibly hardworking game developers. We have shipped games on almost every genre and platform, with a current focus on mobile games.
Cat Daddy is growing and seeking an enthusiastic, talented, and personable Senior IT Systems Administrator to provide IT support and leadership for the studio. Applicants will be highly motivated and organized, able to work as part of a team, while also possessing the ability to work without supervision.
What you will do:
- Serve as lead IT support for the studio, coordinating with existing IT staff to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues on PC/macOS/Linux workstations and infrastructure hardware
- Deploy and administer systems and tools to support various groups
- Day to day administration of Windows server environment: AD, DNS, DHCP, related applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues (including VPN support)
- Use imaging and deployment tools to ensure workstations and applications are deployed in a standardized manner
- Work closely with developers in supporting new services and tackle issues as they arise
- Develop and maintain documentation for procedures and user resolution documentation
- Provide timely and creative solutions to difficult problems
- Supervise and mentor IT Assistant
Who we think will be a phenomenal fit:
- 5+ years work experience in desktop support and/or IT department supporting end users
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior IT staff
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, MCSE certification, or equivalent experience required
- Possess a thorough understanding of the Windows and macOS operating systems, Active Directory & Office 365 in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of server and PC workstation hardware, software, and security essentials
- Excellent organization, problem-solving, and communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to quickly adapt to new and changing technologies
- Experience with more complex project work, tracking and managing progress
- Ability to work calmly in high pressure situations and manage multiple ongoing projects
- Familiarity with Linux, storage, Cisco IOS and/or VMware is a plus
