Senior Generalist Programmer

Your mission

As a Generalist programmer at Colossal Order, you will be a member of the Technology team, getting involved in the different projects in development and help to shape the workflows and technology to empower the Gameplay Programmers and Artists to create high-quality, high-performance titles

You will be involved in all layers of the technology used by the company and will be taking ownership and developing various backend features shared between our titles such as Animation system, Asset importing, Asset management, Automation, LOD generation, Streaming, Data binding and many more.

• Researching and developing technical tools for a project and solving complex technical issues
• Researching the implementation of systems as well as designing and implementing reusable systems
• Assisting in asset performance and validation
• Developing systems to execute the needs of the games
• Maintaining technical documentation

You have a can-do attitude and don’t get scared of being thrown complex problems of all kinds in your way.

Requirements

• Solid work experience in the game industry and game development
• Excellent knowledge of Unity Engine 2022.3+ and associated package
• Solid understanding of the Entity Component System Architecture
• Solid understanding of industry-standard file formats and tools
• Fluent in C# and comfortable in C/C++
