As part of its development and for its next ambitious AAA production, QUANTIC DREAM MONTREAL is looking for a Senior Gameplay Animator
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work with different multidisciplinary teams throughout the production to ensure:
- Support for gameplay prototypes.
- The key framing of everything that is not captured (characters, animals, creatures, stunts, vehicles etc ...).
- Post-animation of Motion Capture files.
You are able to provide high quality animations, corresponding to the high level of requirement that we apply to our productions.
You are curious and want to progress in a stimulating environment; you want to adapt your experience to the specifics of this project; working on an ambitious and original project, surrounded by seniors in a human-sized team is, for you, something essential.
Required skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 5-6 years of successful experience in the production of AAA video games or animated films.
- Excellent level in animation combining a constant concern for quality and a great rigor of work.
- Great sensitivity to gameplay.
- Great familiarity with 3D animation tools and especially Maya.
- Good technical knowledge of handling in-game animations is a plus.
- Versatility
- Hands-on approach.
- Experience in motion capture animation is an asset.
- Bilingual is an asset
- Up-to-date portfolio essential.
