Senior Game DevOps Engineer - Platform

Gram Games is the studio behind some of the most popular mobile titles like 1010!, Six! and Merge Dragons!. We have more awesome projects in the pipeline. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a high level of understanding of AWS, security, systems architecture, tool development and monitoring. This person will work on development of new systems, maintenance of current infrastructure and reviewing and documenting the system architecture. You will be pivotal in making sure our platform infrastructure is reliable for our ever growing player base.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and operate platform architectures for infrastructure
• Improve our platforms scalability, reliability, availability and security
• Design complex cloud architectures to support high throughput services
• Design and implement pipelines to run systems with minimal downtime
• Design system for platform monitoring and alerting

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge and solid previous experience on AWS (EC2, RDS, Redshift, EKS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch)
• Solid Linux and general purpose languages (bash, Python, etc.) knowledge, experience on administrating server OS
• Good knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems (like PagerDuty, Datadog, ELK Stack, Prometheus and Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Good understanding of infrastructure as code concept and previous experience
• Solid understanding of build systems, CI/CD pipelines and deployment pipelines
• Able to understand current systems, technical implementations, and limitations
• Able to work with a small team to implement, deploy and troubleshoot wide range of issues in a production environment

Nice to haves:

• Experience in gaming industry
• Experience working with containerization systems like Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Understanding of other cloud computing provider systems
• Experience in tool development
