Farm Heroes Saga is one of King's biggest and most cherished game titles. We have an exciting opportunity for a Game Artist to join our team based in Stockholm, Berlin, London or Barcelona.

We are looking for a dedicated and multiskilled Senior 2D Game Artist with a real passion for making games. Working on one of our established titles with millions of daily players, you will be hands-on in several different areas of game art creation.

You will collaborate with an array of different crafts including Art, Tech and Game Design. Your focus and impact will be wide, working in various parts of the game, depending on the needs of the team and product.

If you’re an experienced game artist with a proactive interest in many parts of game art production as well as a passion for creating amazing mobile game experiences for established as well as new King players, then we want to talk to you.

This is a Fixed Term opportunity from mid March 2024 - October 2024.

Skills to create thrills

In the role of Senior 2D Game Artist, you will be able to demonstrate the following set of skills:

• High levels of creativity and problem solving, with a passion for games and player-centric, interactive experiences
• The ability to build visually appealing art assets, emulating yet elevating the existing art style
• The technical ability to implement varying types of art content in-game, applying industry standard techniques and workflows
• Excellent knowledge of industry standard applications such as 2D content creation packages like Adobe Suite (Photoshop, etc.)
• A general knowledge of game development tools and engines
• Knowledge of technical constraints, optimisation and implementation techniques
• Versatility and problem solving, with a dedicated, passionate and skilled approach to game and visual design challenges
• The ability to inject fun even into the seemingly mundane art task
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and team spirit
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to self-organize well, plan effectively and work autonomously
• An innovative spirit, happy to go beyond the assigned tasks, actively seeking responsibility

Bonus points

• Previous experience of working in casual mobile games
• Skills in animation and visual effects
