A Day in the Life
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer of a growing team, you will take ownership of projects and have the opportunity to mentor junior members of the team. We are seeking a motivated engineer to join the team responsible for AppLovin's core products which reach a billion users daily. We are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the features and functionality that power App Discovery, Max, Compass Analytics and tools for the core engineering teams.
Our technical stack includes React, Redux, Typescript, MySQL and PHP along with testing tools like Jest, Codeception and Playwright. The team enjoys a fast-paced environment where individuals are empowered to make decisions, solve problems and collaborate across various projects. The team is highly technical and unbureaucratic. You will have opportunities to channel your creativity and have a direct impact on the company's bottom line.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- 2+ years of experience with React.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts in at least one of the following languages: PHP, Python and/or Java.
- An interest in working with Typescript, Redux, PHP, MySQL.
- In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
- Understanding of web architecture, security, building scalable web applications.
- Have a sound knowledge of web debugging tools (Chrome Developer Console).
- Experience mentoring a junior team member

AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, and other forms of incentive compensation (as applicable) may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to dental, vision, and other benefits.
US base pay range (total compensation package will be commensurate with experience)
$152,000 — $247,000 USD
