Senior Director, Marketing (New Game Development)

Scopely is looking for a Sr. Director of Marketing to join an unannounced project team in Culver City on a remote basis!

We are in the development stages on one of our new unannounced casual gaming project, and are looking for passionate game makers to collaborate, get in early and make their mark on this exciting venture!

What You Will Do

• Play a pivotal role in building a new IP brand, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the brand resonates
• Work with centralized player insights team to better define the target audience
• Take ownership of brand, marketing, community, and social media strategies and campaigns for the product’s entire lifecycle
• Be the marketing advocate and partner to the game developers and designers, ensuring our approach and strategy aligns to our target audience
• As a game progresses and scales you’ll be responsible for designing and building a team of skilled and highly capable Marketers to execute the Go-To-Market strategy.
• Work hand-in-glove with our other marketing teams and departments to deliver and implement their components of the strategy, including Performance Marketing, Marketing Data & Analytics, Creative, Player Research and more.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years experience leading and running marketing strategies and teams for successful mobile titles or other online brands (sustained top 100 grossing or better).
• A solid understanding of performance marketing and brand marketing with the ability to leverage both to maximize marketing's impact.
• Hands-on experience bringing new mobile games or online products to market.
• Experience partnering with Product leaders to position new features for our players, and bring them to market.
• A track record of developing, testing and establishing innovative marketing strategies that deliver breakthrough results.
• A solid understanding of Performance Marketing and the KPIs used to analyze success.
• A creative thinker that knows how to leverage emerging trends to create buzz and virality.

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $200,000 - $230,000 plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience .
