The Sr Director position on the Corporate FP&A team is a critical and highly visible role within the team that performs coordinated companywide analysis and consolidation to support the Activision Blizzard executive leadership team, provides key inputs to external financial reporting and investor relations processes, and manages companywide planning and forecasting processes. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Planning, this role will work to analyze, report, and support the key business drivers and build incremental value for the company. The role requires ability to demonstrate a strong aptitude relative to be able to interpret, analyze, and communicate varied and sophisticated business issues. Executive presence, problem solving, prioritizing, timely responses and attention to detail must be second nature.
The essential functions of the role will include supporting the Commercial Organization and the Senior Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning, production finance process ownership, oversight of the finance support for partnerships, consumer products group finance and C-suite support. The Senior Director will also be expected to communicate these analyses to Company executives, either verbally or through presentations. The role will also drive continual process improvement by streamlining and standardizing processes and companywide FP&A processes.
- Support Global Commercial Organization and the Global Revenue Officer in providing input from the teams on the ground to inform financial planning and analyze business trends
- Partner with the Business Unit finance teams on pacing, forecasts, and full game download alignment
- Coordinating and liaising between finance teams in each territory for the preparation and completion of ad-hoc analyses and scheduling financial processes, including business performance, consolidation of metrics, and business perspective / interpretation of trends
- Track key performance indicators and analyze trends to facilitate more real-time commercial decision making to enhance business
- Analyze complex regional data to drive value adding insights on trends and emerging pockets of opportunities. Help shape the strategies to win externally.
- Provide financial and analytical leadership for longer-range planning initiatives in the Commercial Organization. Partner with the commercial leaders on the long-term Commercial Strategy development
- Establish a corporate framework to facilitate game development financial standards across the company
- Supervise the finance support for E-sports, Consumer Products Group and Partnerships

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (Post MBA candidates are encouraged to apply)
- Prior Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in public company finance, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, entertainment/ tech industry finance, and/or similar experiences
- General Skills:
- Strong communication, writing and presentation skills; this person will communicate with executives and leaders across the organization
- Top-notch organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills – a critical thinker who’s a quick learner and can anticipate the next question and derivative outcomes
- Outstanding quantitative and financial modeling
- Ability to thrive and multitask in a constantly evolving environment
- Self-starter - candidate needs to be self-directed and proactive starting day 1 on the job
- Knowledge of and passion for gaming, media, and technology and willingness and ability to get up to speed on business and strategic issues
