The Development Services Central Reporting and Analytics team is looking for a seasoned Data Analyst to level up their growing strategy and analytics program. This department unites Customer Service, Localization, and Blizzard Academy through strategic data insights.
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work with internal and external departments to provide reporting and analysis related to player behavior, Customer Service contact forecasting, CS operations, and more. The ideal candidate is a highly responsible, organized, and self-motivated individual who thrives best in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Candidates must have a demonstrated aptitude for working well with people across all levels of management.

Responsibilities
- Partner with analysts and engineers to own data analytic initiatives
- Perform analysis and valuation (ROI, CBA) for strategic initiatives.
- Create meaningful data visualizations for Blizzard Leadership.
- Use query and programming languages to develop data pipelines
- Leverage tools such as Tableau and SSIS to deliver insights and visibility to key business metrics
- Participate in and contribute to a culture of inclusion and diversity
Requirements
- Passion for data analytics and business insights
- Strong, proven skills with SQL (or SQL like environment) and Python
- Comfortable working in ambiguous areas where learning and adaptability are key skills
- Experience designing, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards using data visualization tools such as Tableau
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Gaming, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Business Intelligence
Pluses
- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or other quantitative field
- Experience working in a multi-terabyte data volume environment
- Experience with some or all of the following: data modeling, data visualization, statistics
- Additional programming language experience in C++ or C#
- Familiar with agile project management tools such as Jira

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $72,720.00 - $134,460.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
