SUMMARY OF POSITION
Nexon is looking for a Senior Data Analyst.
Currently, all Nexon staff are working remotely. Hybrid work model will be in place once we resume on-site operations currently scheduled for January 2022.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, design, prioritize, and develop data analyses to create unique business insights and perform detailed data exploration and validation to understand customers. Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other products and solutions
- Identify key analytic metrics, build reports, and present key insights to ensure that data drives actions to improve the business. Examine and analyze available information to determine patterns and gaps at a strategic level and recommend course of action to support internal and external users
- Research and analyze web and game usage data and recommend solutions. Analyze user experience and business processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement. Translate and break down business requests into user stories, acceptance criteria, user flows in support of the product development effort. Research, evaluate, and review change requests and community impact to the development team
- Document business needs, prioritize requested functionality and validate requirements against strategic goals and project objectives
- Provide reporting and performance monitoring by using data drawn from diverse sources
- Must be able to extract data by writing SQL queries and have programming knowledge for data analysts (R or Python) and make recommendations for improvement
Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Science, Business Administration, or similar/related field
