Day in the Life of a Senior Community Manager:

As our Senior Community Manager, you'll lead the development and execution of our community strategy, initially focusing on our F2P mobile title, Knighthood. Your role will involve nurturing positive relationships between players and our studio, leveraging various channels to engage with our community and advocate for our games. With a keen eye for innovation, you'll drive community strategy forward, managing content, maintaining community channels, and overseeing engagement initiatives.

As the driving force behind our community development, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our games align with player expectations. Your responsibilities will include managing community sentiment, responding to feedback, and delivering compelling content across social media platforms.

Please note, you need to be UK based to be considered for this role. This role can be done remotely within the UK.
What you need to do this job:

• Strong experience community management or social media-related role.

● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

● Deep knowledge of community and social media platforms including Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, Discord and Twitch.

● Understanding of emerging channels such as Threads and BlueSky.

● Knowledge of how to foster online gaming communities from the ground up.

● Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Meta Suite is desirable.

● An understanding of measuring and reporting on social media performance.

● Experience streaming and engaging with an online audience.

● Technical knowledge of streaming setups and logistics.

Interview Process:

At Midoki, we want a holistic and engaging interview process that allows us to get to know you, your skills and your potential. For our Senior Community Manager role, we will do a 2 stage interview process:

1st Stage: 1-hour with our Lead Designer and Senior Designer. Here, we will talk with you about your experience, our expectations in the role and ask some competency-based questions. There will, of course, be opportunities for you to ask questions!
2nd Stage: 1-hour with our Lead Designer and Lead Producer. This will be a strategic competency based interview, where we will also ask about external partner relationship management.
