Jagex Ltd, the UK's largest developer and publisher of online games, is looking for a talented Senior Community Manager to play a key role. Reporting to the Lead Community Manager, you’ll be driving the team forward with bold campaigns, best-in-class reporting and leveraging our outsource community sources.
As Senior Community Manager, your role will be the driving force in our community execution. Your strategic thinking will be applied across the Community Landscape, from concepting and delivering impactful community campaigns to helping shape the community strategy and much more.
You will use your experience in management own the relationship with our outsource community teams, maximising our capabilities day to day, and support our Community Managers in their own development. Your passion for community manifests as an impact driven mindset, as you seek to excite our players and deliver results.
You will:
- Work with junior team members to expand their skills, focus on training needs and help develop them into leaders of tomorrow
- Act as an ambassador for both our players and our studio, representing our team to the players and our player’s voice to the team
- Be a champion of our brand, ensuring a deep understanding of game content and publishing activities
- Conceptualize and execute Community Campaigns with measurable results, collaborating with the rest of the community team to ensure their delivery
- Report on community sentiment, ensuring a high-quality analytical view of our entire community is delivered in every report
- Craft messaging around our outbound releases, including writing long-form articles when necessary
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities to improve how we operate and help deliver those improvements
- Own the relationship with any outsource community teams, ensuring they are armed for success at every turn
- Represent the team on camera through Live Streams or Video content
- Assist with events, trade show and exhibitions
Essential Requirements:
- Experienced: you have developed years of community experience in social media or communications. You are experienced in representing a brand professionally.
- Player Obsessed: you understand your impact on our players social experience because you are a core gamer. You use that knowledge to improve the overall experience of all our communications and promotions. Communication is a two-way street and you thrive at being a facilitator between game teams and players
- Strategic: you understand the values of community campaigns and communication and feedback flows. You push yourself to understand all the aspects at play either in the community or at the studio and factor them into your approaches.
- Entrepreneurial: you are hungry for improvement and refinement. You are willing to try new things and embrace new approaches in the search for success. You proactively identify opportunities and drive for change where it matters.
