Senior Community Manager - Hybrid

We are nDreams, one of the world’s leading developers/publishers focused on VR games. As a growing publishing team we strive to develop campaigns that are at the forefront of virtual reality – we are looking for a Senior Community Manager who will help us achieve this, as well as bringing along new ideas, skills and perspectives.
The ideal candidate will oversee community and social campaigns across a range of assigned titles and support the development and execution of our wider Communications strategy. You will improve the quality and consistency of our communications with our community across all of our channels. You will also oversee the growth and development of the Community team.
The Role
Community Management
- Lead our community management efforts and cultivation of our communities around nDreams and our games
- Develop and execute a holistic community strategy that enhances our existing efforts to engage with our community
- Plan, develop and execute social and community campaigns for assigned titles
- Balance multiple ongoing community campaigns
- Manage and continue to grow our Discord community and serve them new content that brings them closer to nDreams and our games
- Ensure that community feedback and sentiment is regularly communicated to key stakeholders in a way that is meaningful and insightful
- Monitor discussions and respond in a timely fashion where appropriate
- Address, resolve, and communicate any issues related to the features and functionality of our products and relay new community-requested features as appropriate to the Publishing team
Social Media
- Oversee our social media activity across all established platforms (Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube) and proactively seek new ways to generate fans and followers, build relationships and foster engagement
- Develop social campaigns that feed into the wider communication plans for our titles
- Manage our social media calendars, ensuring that there is a varied mix of content across our channels
- Proactively keep up with the latest trends, insights and features from across social and community channels and recommend ways to integrate them into our plans
Leadership
- Mentor the junior members of the Community team, supporting their growth and success
- Grow the Community team and build a collaborative, creative team environment that encourages fresh ideas and rewards, timely quality execution
- Act as an evangelist for your games and projects across the publishing team and wider business and celebrate the success of our community campaigns.
Requirements
Who are we looking for?
Essential capabilities
- Minimum of three years’ community management experience within the video game industry.
- Experience creating and executing strategy social campaigns across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, including emerging channels, and how to use their features to drive audience conversation and engagement
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft copy to suit a wide variety of audiences and tones of voice, combined with a sharp attention to detail
- Experience of effective and supportive line management
- Self-motived and proactive with a positive approach to collaborative projects
- Deep knowledge and commercial awareness of the video games industry and an enthusiasm for gaming
Desired experience
- Experience of using social analytics tools, reporting, and using scheduling tools
- Experience of working with influencers and external partners
- Knowledge and enthusiasm for VR and VR games
