Role Overview:
PlayStation’s Global Sales and Business Operations (GSBO) division are part of the driving force to deliver growth for the company. Within that area, the Channel Sales Process and Transformation team support business leaders by bringing together the skills and experience needed to deliver continuous, effective change.
We’re recruiting a Senior Change and Project Manager to support our Process and Transformation Director in two ways:
- Develop the company’s general capability to manage change effectively
- Act as the change lead on several projects, supporting the project management team
We require a confident, proactive, and highly qualified individual with a proven record of delivering change projects. You must have had experience across multiple regions and time zones in order to confidently fit with PlayStation’s global footprint
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing the company’s general capability to manage change effectively
- Building a community of organisational change enthusiasts & practitioners
- Becoming a trusted person for business leaders to consult on how to apply change management
- Building a curriculum for managers, project teams and senior leaders to become better leaders of change & engage with those stakeholders to get adoption
- Working with global training providers to ensure that relevant training is accessible to teams across PlayStation
- Act as Change Leader on number of projects
- Planning change initiatives and delivering them as part of a project team
- Likely working across a number of matrixed teams including other internal business partners, external parties such e.g. Deloitte, KPMG, other consulting vendors etc.
- Assessing suitability of various change management techniques according to project needs, scaling the change approach
- Briefing teams to help build change collateral e.g. internal creative services
- Reporting, mitigating, and advancing project risks and issues
- Applying standard project management techniques to plan, implement and control project work
What we’re looking for:
- Proven years of experience as a project practitioner, either within PM or Change Management capacity
- Proven experience in managing senior business partners (VP/ SVP/ Global Management teams)
- Track record of successful project delivery, moving projects forward at pace
- Proven capability managing sub-contracted vendors or contingent workers
- Proactive and positive with the ability to find pragmatic solutions to problems
- Ability to move projects forward when some aspects are still ambiguous
- Experience working across business functions
- Experience of waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Desirable:
- Working in a global organisation and flexing to accommodate different time zones and working hours
- Change Management qualification (PROSCI, APMG)
- Project Management qualification (Agile, PPM)
- Other qualifications / skills /interests to show wider or deeper curiosity about human side of change
