Senior Business Operations Manager - Development

Bungie is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager (BOM) for an outstanding opportunity to partner with the Chief Development Officer. The Office of the CDO is accountable for strategic planning and executing our vision to become a Center for Creative and Technical Excellence.
The Sr. BOM will design, own, and drive the rhythm of the business for the Office of the CDO, to define and align to the overall Bungie strategy. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, empathetic, and has a demonstrated ability in organizing people with a service mindset and aligning their strengths to the processes as needed. RESPONSIBILITES
- Support the CDO in creation and execution of a robust talent strategy in the quest to transform Bungie as a Center of Creative and Technical Excellence, the best place to work industry wide.
- Partner with various departments to drive projects and initiatives. This includes working closely with finance, people team and employee services.
- Manage the rhythm of the business (ROB) calendar for all disciplines, in coordination with the studio-wide ROB calendar.
- Drive the Office of CDO Working Group, Discipline Working Groups, and other Strike Teams towards the successful completion of projects and objectives
- Ensure that leadership expectations are aligned to tangible deliverables and to the Annual operating Plan (AOP)
- Drive execution of strategic initiatives and projects for the CDO.
- Develop, refine, reinforce, and embody Bungie’s culture and values.
- Actively reassess processes and facilitate change towards continuous improvement.
- Craft communications (email, presentations, etc.) and organizational change management plans, in partnership with the internal Communications team, to the broader studio
- Represent the Office of the CDO and act as proxy to the CDO in decision-making, working with G&A business partners
- Actively engage in shaping Business Operations excellence at Bungie
- Report to the Chief of Staff
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience partnering and working with a development organization in the software industry (SAAS experience a must have)
- Experience working with creatives
- Demonstrated experience in driving annual strategy and budget planning cycles to fruition.
- Outstanding facilitation skills along with the experience of partnering with senior leaders and throughout the structure of the entire organization
- Strong project management skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to lead cooperative efforts among members across disciplines and projects.
- The ability to work with ambiguity while employing conflict resolution skills. The wherewithal to drive high-value meetings through challenging discussions and build clear action items and accountability.
- Experience with agile/scrum development processes and tools
- Demonstrated ability to partner with G&A Business Partners: Finance, People Team, Employee Services as needed.
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Experience in the gaming industry or other creative industry
- Experience with people development
- Experience with Jira, TFS, Asana, or other similar project management tools
Most Bungie full-time employees will adopt a digital first approach allowing remote work in Bungie approved locations (outside of positions identified as 100% onsite in Bellevue/Seattle, or individuals preferring a hybrid/flex environment). Prospective full-time employees located outside of CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI will need to establish residency in one of the states we are compliant in within 45 days of a start date.
