We are seeking a dedicated Senior Build Engineer to join the Game Production team within King's Shared Tech organisation. This position will enable you to shape the future of our client technology platform, helping King power some of the most popular mobile games in the world, such as Candy Crush Saga.
Our vision in Shared Tech is to provide a driven technological advantage for game teams at King, helping them deliver amazing player experiences.
This position is located at King's office in Stockholm to ensure close proximity to the teams you will be closely cooperating with.
This is an FTC contract for 12 months.
Your role within our Kingdom
Your job will be to build effective, stable, and reliable continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and services for our development platforms and games.
We strive to empower developers to be autonomous and flexible.
You will collaborate extensively with other build engineers, as well as with developers, and occasionally with the security team to address vulnerabilities.
Your responsibilities will include
Build and Release Management: anage build and release pipelines to ensure consistency and version control across software projects.
Security and Testing: Incorporate security standard methodologies and automated testing into the build process to maintain software integrity.
Automation and Tool Integration: Automate build processes and integrate development tools into the CI/CD pipeline to streamline workflows.
Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with development teams and maintain documentation of build procedures and configurations.
Skills to create thrills
- CI/CD build systems, specifically Jenkins
- Comfortable working in a cross-platform environment supporting iOS, Android, UWP, Linux, Windows, and MacOS
