Job description

For ambitious new projects under development in our company, as part of the Characters team in the Artistic Department and in close collaboration with the team’s Setup officer, you will be responsible for complex subjects associated with the creation and management of Rigs on several projects.

You will be in direct contact with the artists/graphic designers and animators in order to meet their needs, and you will be proactive in improving existing processes. In addition to creating Rigs, you will be in charge of prototyping tools and drawing up specifications.

The Characters team is dedicated to the development and creation of high-quality real-time 3D characters, and brings together the following specialist areas: Modeling/Textures, Skinning, Setup, Rig, Dynamic real-time simulation.

Required skills

  • 10 years’ experience in CG and/or AAA video games essential;
  • Experience in keyframe/anim highly desirable;
  • In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of industry methods;
  • Excellent standard of spoken and written communication: explain clearly, rally, persuade;
  • Can handle very complex subjects (organic and mechanical);
  • Ability to write concise reports;
  • Perfect knowledge of Maya;
  • Have a vision of pipeline-oriented production;
  • Perfect proficiency in Python;
  • You are an organized self-starter with real interpersonal skills;
  • You are meticulous and flexible in the performance of your role;
  • Methodical and responsive;
  • Curious, open to others;
  • You have a strong desire to learn and be involved in large-scale projects.
