Are you a Senior Audio Engineer with a passion for creating unforgettable audio experiences in video games? Do you have experience with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) audio integration and a track record of delivering high-quality audio systems for top-tier titles? If so, we want to talk to you! We're seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Audio Engineer to join our team and help us push the boundaries of game audio. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other members of the engineering and sound departments, helping to push the boundaries of game audio technology
  • Strong familiarity working with the Unreal 4/5 Engine.
  • Own the audio technology pipeline and custom audio tool set for our UE5 game engine
  • Work with audio designers and programmers to design, prototype, and implement new audio features.
  • Develop implementation plans and time estimates for tasks
  • Work with the content team to meet project requirements within performance and memory budgets.
  • Support and proactively interface with the audio designers
  • Adhere to team coding standards and best practices, and improve where necessary.

Qualifications

  • A passion for game audio and a desire to work on the technology, tools, and back-end systems to immerse the player
  • 5+ years of proven experience in an Audio Engineering role or similar position with multiple shipped titles
  • Audio programming education or experience
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 5 and its audio systems
  • DSP and 3D audio programming experience
  • Good understanding of multi-threaded programming
  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, to take the initiative and follow through on projects
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines
