Senior Agile Project Manager

Job Description

Ubisoft's IT department is currently looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead and organize transversal initiatives of Customer & Marketing Solutions team, which is part of IT HQ department and which is in charge with developing customer facing services, such as CRM, Customer Support, Digital Marketing and Community Management.

Our team has an international footprint and company-wide impact integrating virtually all Ubisoft’s online tools and services. The Project Manager’s role will be that of an organizer and facilitator to guide the distributed Scrum organizations achieve cross-domain objectives with focus on collaboration, milestones and quality-oriented development.

Project Manager will demonstrate strong organizational skills, outstanding communication and inner drive to succeed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Drive high-quality results/deliveries through discipline and effective communication
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owners, Project Managers and Team Leads in identifying and planning long- and short-term delivery flow strategy, priorities, objectives and requirements
• Build iterative cross-domain project roadmaps based on input of Agile teams in charge of individual products & services
• Build and maintain initiatives charters to ensure common understanding of scope, timeline, roles and other project aspects
• Track project KPI’s and timelines, escalate variances as necessary and elicit standard project deliverables as needed (e.g. schedule, budget, RACI, process maps, risk registers)
• Define project communication strategy and execute accordingly (e.g. roadmap workshops, steering committees, release and sprint reports, project status reports)
• Manage team's impediments: both organizational and operational
• Pro-actively perform risks management and mitigation strategy to ensure the impact on delivering according to the agreed planning is reduced at a minimum
• Assist Product Owners / Project Managers in managing and maintaining the product backlog related to the transversal subjects in charge to ensure visibility and priorities follow-up

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Management position
• 5+ years of experience in the IT Industry
• Excellent management and leadership skills
• Good skills and knowledge of prioritization, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, increasing transparency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to persuasively advocate agendas to staff, managerial and executive stakeholders; effective communicator and moderator in distributed cross-functional teams
• Exceptional team building skills
• Ability to analyze data and reports to identify issues and develop recommended courses of action in proactive fashion
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to help influence and work with others collaboratively and constructively
• Self-motivated problem-solver
• Strong personal time-management skills and attention to detail; capable of detecting hidden problems and prioritizing, tracking and managing to resolution multiple issues concurrently
• Ability to demonstrate a track record of managing increasingly complex projects throughout career
• Solid understanding of project management fundamentals
• Practical knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban) and Agile practices (cross functional team dynamics, product and sprint backlogs, continuous integration, iterative and incremental development, scrum events, self-organizing teams)
• Command of information technology foundations (e.g. software development, software automation, application architecture, hardware/infrastructure, authentication/authorization)
• Solid knowledge of common project management and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Office, MS Project, Jira, Confluence)
• Demonstrated understanding of budgeting, scheduling and change management processes within Agile contexts
• Fluent command of English.

Training:

• Project Management training/certification (i.e. PMP, CSM) is preferred
• Agile Scrum Master certification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field is an asset.
