Senior Accountant

Zeptolab is searching for an Accountant!

What you’ll do

• Assisting with accounting, payroll and procurement systems implementation for the group of companies;
• To take over the responsibilities currently handled by the outsourcing company and set up the internal accounting system for UK (Sage);
• Monthly closing process: responsible for monthly closing process involving Bank transactions, Payroll, Accruals, Assets, Debtors, and Taxes;
• Oversee compliance with the R&D return process;
• Control over dividend payments and mutual settlements with shareholders;
• Payroll management: oversee the monthly payment process, handle employee benefits, ensure compliance with local payroll obligations and taxes;
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the group of companies.
• Production and submission of VAT and corporate tax declaration, communication with HMRC;
• Statutory audit support: collaborate with external auditors and issue all documentation for the audit process.

Who you are

• Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• ACCA certificate.
• 5 years of proven work experience as an accountant, with a focus on IT companies.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP accounting and UK tax laws.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English, Russian as a plus.
